Oversees the Chapter's communications strategy by managing the website, email newsletters, social media, event promotion, and member communications to keep alumni informed and engaged.

Maintains the Chapter's governing documents by overseeing the Constitution and Bylaws, ensuring compliance with Penn State Alumni Association policies, and advising the Board on governance matters.

Builds connections between the Chapter and Penn State students through Student Sendoff, student outreach, career engagement, and other initiatives supporting current and prospective students.

Plans recreational and athletic activities that bring Chapter members together through friendly competition, fitness, and community engagement throughout the year.

Organizes social, networking, and Penn State spirit events—including football watch parties—to strengthen connections among alumni and friends across the DMV.

Leads fundraising efforts and scholarship initiatives that support local students attending Penn State while promoting educational opportunities within the Chapter.

Creates opportunities for career growth through networking, mentorship, educational programs, and professional development events for alumni.

Fosters meaningful connections among Penn State alumni by developing programs, traditions, and engagement opportunities that strengthen lifelong relationships with the Chapter and the University.

Coordinates the Chapter's year-round fundraising and awareness efforts in support of THON, helping fund critical research and provide emotional and financial support to children and families impacted by childhood cancer.

Develops volunteer and service opportunities that enable Chapter members to make a positive impact throughout the Metro Washington, D.C. community.
Affiliate groups named as a “Group of Distinction” have served in several different programmatic categories, including career networking, social interaction and fellowship, supporting students, and leading THON-related activities.
