2025-2026 Student Break Bus Trips: Fall Break (Return to University Park)
The Student Break Buses, sponsored by the Metro Washington, DC Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association, provides safe, reliable, and economic transportation for students traveling between University Park and the Washington, DC metro area over holiday and semester breaks.
- University Park, PA – Pick-up & Drop-off: Curtin Road beside the Berkey Creamery
- Bethesda, MD – Pick-up & Drop-off: Side parking lot of Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, MD
The trip between State College and Washington, DC usually takes about 4 hours, but keep in mind that travel times may vary with weather and/or traffic issues. Your purchase will provide a QR code that will be used for bus check-in – please be sure to save your QR code for ease of reference!

**Please note that riders are able to bring a personal item kept with them and a checked bag to be stored under the bus. In the best interest of space, please be cognizant of other riders, and reach out to us at studentaffairs@psuwashdc.org in the event that you have additional luggage and need accommodation. Students with more than the allotted luggage may be turned away due to space restrictions.

Please select this ticket if you are interested in riding with us on a second bus. With enough interest from the community, we will support a second bus for an additional 55 riders. Please stay up to date with our website, social media, newsletter, or direct emails from the Student Affairs team to learn about future trips or bus additions! NOTE: Adding yourself to the waitlist does not constitute purchasing a ticket or reserving a seat. If a new bus is posted, tickets will continue to be first come, first serve on the new Bus Two ticket listing here.
