Big Ten DC Alumni Chapters School Supply Drive

Join Penn State DC and alumni chapters from Big Ten schools across the DC metro area for our annual School Supply Drive on Sunday, September 6, 2026. Together, we’ll support DC Public Schools by collecting essential classroom supplies and hygiene items to help students start the school year prepared for success.
- Classroom Supplies: Small portable whiteboards, dry erase markers, pens, pencils, notebooks, crayons, glue, and other essential school supplies.
- Art Supplies: Paper, paint, paintbrushes, chalk, and other creative materials.
- Hygiene Items: Deodorant, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, washcloths, combs, face wash, hairbrushes, lotion, shower caps, hand sanitizer, dental floss, mouthwash, sanitary pads, lip balm, hair ties, tissues, sunscreen, wet wipes, and cotton swabs.
Every donation helps ensure students have the tools they need to learn, create, and thrive.
